Just had these two poor souls hatch. They were joined at the hip and shared a cloaca and tail. Both sides were alive and grasping and climbing, but neither side ever opened their eyes. They lived for three days.

That's sad ... I can understand how it feels knowing there's nothing you can do but wait til they pass on . Poor little things .

Wow. I had two pairs of twin pardalis hatch out of the same clutch 20 years ago but never conjoined. Did they hatch on their own or need assistance? Any more eggs left to hatch in the clutch?

Poor things but super interesting. It's amazing how well their dorsal lines join up and keep going as one down their tail.

were they in one egg or two?? My female faly laid a clutch in july that had to eggs fused together and another that was 3 eggs joined at the tips. I have wondered ever since if they will be joined. it scares the crap out of me but they look like whole eggs just fused at the tip. the 3 eggs together molded over after 2 months but I still have 2 pairs of 2 joined eggs.

Bill that is so sad. I agree it would be fascinating, but I still hope never to see it. Hope all the others hatch well.

When do you have quads hatching? I need a baby fix. Seeing them always helps.:D

All eggs (25) hatched on their own. This one pipped the egg, but could not make it out on its own so I helped it.

The egg had all appearances of being normal.
