compact uvb bulbs

is it ok if i use 2 compact bulbs reptiglow 10.0 for a 24x24x48 inch cage?
i ask this becose being a large cage , a better coverage will be ideal.
and i want to use 2x 10.0 uvb becose the mesh will lower the uvb that will get to the cham.

right now this is my best option becose i cant find a damn fixture for the tube bulbs.

so what do you say ? am i thinking this the right way?

as a rule, you know most of us use the 5.0's but there are others who do use the 10.0's. Never heard of putting two 10.0's in the cage. I realize what you are saying because they are the compact and not the tube and therefore would not cover that broad of an area. I would just use the one and raise the fixture up instead of settng in on the screen so it covers more area. 2-10's I think would be too much.

I thought 10.0 was fine as long as it is not on the inside of the cage. The screen will filter out 35-65% of the light depending on the mesh style.

As far as 2 bulbs, you want the wattage equivalent to 1 24".

They are not the best option.
They are OK for smaller set ups..... but not the best for much in the way of any normal size chameleon enclosure.

These are all brand new bulbs in an exo terra 12" hood

After testing them...
I tossed the exo terra in the trash.
I have discontinued them on my web site as well.
The reading was so low at 10" it is ridiculous... and I tried more than one.
I seriously wouild NOT use the Exo Terra ones based on my own tests , see pic. below.
The readings on the 5.0 ones I tested were so low at 10 inches... I wonder if they can even prevent MBD??

The Repti-Suns tested good.
