colour changers broke

hi my other veild cham dosent change colour like the youger one she's about 5 mounths old and is still green and don't change.

You won't see much color variation in the girls until they are much closer to a year, and even then it doesn't compare to the males. They will turn great colors and patterns when receptive or gravid.

thanks for that i thought that there might be something wrong coz the male turns some lovely colours but she don't, thanks that explains it.

Female Veileds.......

Yes, she is doing what she should do. Just admire her pretty green for now. The good thing is that when she becomes gravid you won't have to wonder about it. The dramatic change in color and pattern is a real indicator.

Are you aware that once female veileds reach the age of about 5 months they can produce eggs even though they haven't been bred and that there should be a suitable place in the cage for her to dig to lay eggs?
