So, a while back I got contacted by a few forum members about a Veiled cham that needed to be rehomed in the Phx area. After trying to figure out how to make space etc. I went to pick him and his cage up. Being that I have NO plans on breeding Veiled chams this guy is just going to be a buddy in a good home....the only problem with that is he is pretty aggressive and HATES us...but now that he is settled in and my wife has taken him under her wing with the idea of making him like us...she usually wins!! She brings him out everyday and feeds him etc. We found out early on that if we handled him with a green latex glove he was chill...but without it he wanted to eat you:rolleyes: He has chilled out a tone and actually seems like he waits for us to come get him out of his enclosure:cool: My wife always wins LOL

Typical of Chomo when he got here

deff. my guy is really aggressive in the cage and he gets mean while out but i take him out every day and make him walk up and down my arm then i set him on the free range right next to my couch and i sit there with him while i work and he has gotten so much nicer and is getting used to our daily routine that he knows exactly what time of day to come out and how long he has and he expects it lol its made him alot better. i still dont let any friends hold him out of precaution. but hes almost to the point of as tame as he will get

Thanks again for taking him under your wing. It really means a lot. He's looking happy and healthy!!! My angry boy :D

Not sure where all the pictures went that use to be in this thread. Really strange but here are few from this weekend from mister grumpy pants...

Vintage Chomo!! He hates life. Now if I had had him since he was young I am sure it would have been different but since I took him on at about 11mo he is a sour cham to say the least
