I have a home office and Chevy has been named the Supervisor, so we free ranged it for him so he can literally watch over me! The pics don't get what we did any justice. He LOVES it though:) The pic where it is by my display cabinet, he will got onto of that and crawl up the rooster on top! It looks hilarious. He will actually just walk all over, back and forth.

Just encourage you that if you do this, please keep your Cham safe! My other animals are NEVER aloud in the same room with him when he is out and about.

Just wanted to share.

Wow, that looks really nice! How do you keep the poop from getting on your things? I've tried to free-range but my jackson would always end up somewhere weird (like on the bed), and I was worried about accidentally stepping/sitting on him.

Also, the poop, lol.

Good for him! What a lucky guy you have there. I'm a big fan of Free Ranging.
So healthy for a Cham to have stimulation outside their cage.

My Jackson was free ranged most of his life. He had his baby repto and before he outgrew it he was living in his freerang full time in the living room. The trick is to make it impossible for them to get down. No electrical cords or vines that lead down to the floor. My Jacksons Also had a favorite spot / branch that he would like to poop off of every single time so I put a Boot tray on the floor with some paper towels in it and that was the bathroom Lol!
It's going to be interesting if my new panther will develop a pooh spot in his free range or just go everywhere? It's going to be fun finding out :)

I also loved free ranging. Assuming you don't have other pets that could harm your cham if it does get to the floor. For a while after the cham is put in its free range it will tend to wander unless your free range offers everything that attracts a cham...overhead bright light, warmth, hiding and sleeping retreats, plants that hold water droplets (or give water by hand-held syringe), and someplace to hunt. I just hang a plastic storage box to the structure and let them hunt from the rim of the box. To provide humidity (in a room that may normally be drier than you would want) be ready to put some sort of fogger or humidifier nearby too. To keep overspray and poop off the floor I either put a piece of pond liner, tarp, or even a vinyl flooring remnant under the area.
