cham video intro material

Hey everyone,

I've been working with a few other members trying to make some husbandry videos. At this moment I'm working on a general intro that will play on every video for about 10 seconds. If anyone has any video clips or pictures they'd like to share I'd greatly appreciate it. Anything at all would help a lot.

For pics you can either post 'em here, or post a link to them.

For videos I would prefer you actually email me the original video. I can't save a youtube video to work with myself. Video is more or so what I'm after but pictures work fine too.

I'm looking for cham pics, cage pics, feeder pics, anything and everything okies?

If you wish to be credited for any material I will gladly do so, however you wish.

Thanks in advance,
Andrea

Awesome idea, and one i had myself after searching youtube for "veiled chameleon." There are dozens of "expert villiage" youtube husbandry videos which provide terrible advice. Usually these crap videos outweigh the correct ones, and they come up #1 especially for Veileds.

I'd like to contribute, but unfortunately the video on my old canon powershot would be horrible quality.

If you can find some uncopyrighted pictures and some music or stuff that someone will let you use, I can make an intro for you. Just PM me with the info.

The more video clips and pictures we have, the better. Anything you can give will be appreciated. Hey, Vin did you get my emails?

yeah I did cush, sent you one back.

No one has anything? Jake I would love to see your video, maybe it's not as bad of quality as you think

this will be hard to do. Essentially, every pictures (including yours and your friends' are copyrighted).
Anything with no copyright (that happened to be free) will fall within public domain. This is usually anything made before 1924
My advise is not to use someone else's works who you do not know.
Use your own or your friends who clearly say it's ok to use.

My point, Frans. Anyone making videos under the chameleonforums name needs to make sure they use things they are allowed to use so Brad doesn't get fined for something.

Everything I've used so far has come from my camera. No one has volunteered any footage what so ever :( hah.

I'm well aware of the exhisting copyright laws, and would never use anything without anyones permission.

I think it's very sad that people need videos to care right for their chameleons. I mean nowadays it's so easy to get much and good literature but people are just too lazy to read :( Bad future

well we all know a good majority of people don't want to read or research. Personally, I was reading on this site for 4 months before joining, and for 3 more months before buying my panther. My hopes are that lazier people who might possibly buy a cham with all of petsmart ideals stuffed in their heads will watch the videos with proper husbandry techniques instead of the rest of the mumbo-jumbo on youtube.
