Can you feed your crickets canned dog food?

Can you gut load crickets canned dog food? I know there's a fair amount of protien and other vitamins that are in canned dog food that could possibly be beneficial to mah little Viscorous. I read somewhere, ( have no idea where) about gutloading with canned dog food or something like that.

Also, when Vis gets to be his max. size, could I possibly feed him pinky mice or green anoles(I can catch them in Texas), as an added sorce of protien to his diet? If I do that he'd get once mouse a month, every two months or so. I read in a chameleon keeping guide that this is sometimes beneficial to adult chameleons. I dunno, people over a book seems more... Idealistic to me.

Do not gut load with dog or cat food wet or dry.
Very bad idea that can cause gout, edema and hypervitaminosis
in your chameleon.
