Yes.
That bulb may be a little bit to much heat for them if you are not careful. You also want to make sure you have a Flourecent UV Fixture in addition to the house bulb.

Yes, as long as it is not a Compact Flourecent like the "energysavers" that are Shaped like a corkscrew. I use regular 40 and 60 watt house bulbs for my basking lamps.

those things are junk (zoomed basking bulbs).....They're like 7-8 bucks, and I never had one that lasted much more than a month (a total waste of money). now I just use a 60 watt house bulb and my cham is happy.
