Calumma Globifer Video

For those of you in North America that have never had the chance to see Calumma globifer in captivity here's a you tube video of a pair. They look wild caught. To the best of my knowledge they are only somewhat protected by private reserves and are not protected by National Parks of other Malagasy government maintained parks.

They look very dry and rough no color at all. They are one of the most colorful calumma. You wouldn't know by those pics these are on my wish list.

The dark background and the lighting does make their colors not look the best. Calumma globifer is on my wish list too.

I used to have a lone male back in the 90's. I had him for a few years before he passed. He was a full grown adult male when I got him from Ken Kalisch. They are built like tanks and show some beautiful turquoise, green and blues. He was not shy at all either.

Definitely wish I still had my pair....they lived with me for over 5 years before they died.
