Calicium with Vitamin D and without Vitamin D

Okay, here's the question. On the days that Gizmo is to receive his calcium w/or w/o Vitamin D - and he is going to be outside - Do I supplement him with the Calcium w/o the Vitamin D just for that day? Or is their a cumulative affect that I need to take into consideration. Hope this question makes sense

It doesn't matter when he goes outside. You will use plain calcuim every other time that you feed him. Twice a month use calcuim with D3 and once a month multivitamins. Do not use 2 at once because the D3 and multi already have calcuim in it. Jann

I thought D3 is bad for chams espaecially cause they can over dose( as my last CHAM did. isn't calium W/O D3 better

If you are taking your chameleon outside fairly often you shouldn't need D3 in any supplements.

I agree, too much D3 is a bad thing.
Calcium daily but D3 isnt necessary very often -especially if your cham has access to real sunlight. I only provide D3 on one meal once or twice monthly. My chams get very little real sunlight (due to the climate where I live) but they do have frequently changed UVB bulbs.
