Cage Video + SILLY Sven!

Hey guys and gals -

I posted a picture thread of the custom cage I built, and made a video of it this weekend. Without trying to make it sound like a double post.. the reason I am linking this video is to show you all little Svens new habit.

Apparently he is officially potty trained, and uses his cup feeder I made as a TOILET!! The last 4 days I have cought him sitting on the cap area with both feet on the edge.. butt hanging down into the hole!!

Check the video out, you will see what I am talking about. I need to fill the hole now so that his poop is not dropping down into the crickets that may or may not snack on it?

Good video... Where did you purchase the digital temp gauges? What brand are they?

ever wonder if he is actually trying to tell you something? he knows where to get his food alright, and apparently he thinks the whole operation is quite 'shitty'! maybe he doesn't like the choice of feeders and is showing you he thinks they're crap! literally hehe. ok i'll stop with the puns, but seriously i couldn't help myself! i would actually take advantage of the fact that he poops there, and change his feeding station a bit... i would use another container and place it for his toilet in the same place - but this time, keep it whole so you could just rinse/throw away every so often. then just move the feeding container to the other side. you may have the only toilet trained chameleon and thats cool 'shit' lol.

great job on the whole setup! me likes . it seems that sven likes it too

They are all toilet trained.
You just have to discover where they have decided the toilet is.

Thumbs up Looks really good.

LOL Love the toilet! Looks like your doing a good job. Wish my guys were potty trained.

You should think about getting an automated mister from herpmist.com then it won't matter what time ya wake up, he'll always get his mist.

You should look into getting some roaches as feeders. They are much easier than crickets.
