broken bulb??

okay, i made a post yesterday about my broken light fixture, but i done a few things to test it out came to find out & the bulb was the problem not the fixture.
so im just wondering are therre any other bulbs i can use besides the ones u get from a petstore, or online. because that would take me a little while i dont live anywhere close too a petstore.

You can use a ragular household bulb,( of proper wattage)
works the same with out the price!

well. for heating yes house bulbs work the same. but if it was UVB than no it will not and you really do need to get one quickly :/ sorry.

Well, they will do fine without UV bulbs for a few days if you can pop them outside for some sunlight, even if it's just 30 mins a day. Sunshine packs way more UV than the artificial lights by a significant difference, so a little sunshine will keep them going for the 3-5 days shipping usually takes.

Is this something you can do? Otherwise, I don't know what other option you have besides just not having a UV light a few days. They still won't suffer unduly without one for a short enough amount of time, in my opinion, if you can't get your hands on anything until something ships to you.

I went back and looked up your thread from yesterday. and you said it was your uv light, so just any light wont work.
depending on where you live, a day or 2 wont hurt while you wait for a uv linear bulb to be shipped. Is it possible to get your cham outside tomorrow during the day? even for an hour will help. but truly a couple of days is ok.
LLL ships fast, and are the cheapest.
