For the Brady fans...

Thanks so much for the pictures, they are good. I am a brady fan, and even own a pair. More pictures are always welcome.:)

To me there is nothing nicer than damaranum.

Kevin

They are my favorite Bradypodion!

I was sort of hoping we could have got them (and setaroi) that last import.

Not that I dont love my thamnobates. ;)

Excellent pictures of them, thanks for sharing!

When I fist read the title I thought you were talking about Tom Brady. Lol. Football season is coming and that's all I hear about. Very cool though! They are neat looking critters.

Go Patriots!

Jurgen, hopefully I can bring some of your cb damaranum over in the next few months. I am speechless. That male is ridiculous!!!

Thank you all, damaranum is my favorite bradypodion species to!
In my opinion most of the bradypodion species are not difficult to keep and breed.
Setaroi is the moste easy of them all they breed like mouse ,i had some females that never seems to stop produce baby's:eek:
Maybe some advice to your US bradypodionkeepers:if you live in a country with moderate climate, keep them outside as much as possible they love the sun, they grow and breed way better than keeping them inside.
They like a nice drop at night!
Thamnobates, pumillum and transvaalense are in general also not difficult to keep and breed, see that you start with healty unreladet animals.
Damaranum is a total different story,They are very easy too keep and very hardy but breeding them ...all the species breed very well here in EU and are not expensive here.Problem with damaranum is that from the start only a few pairs produced some baby's,they are very wanted and many breeders want them to breed as fast as possible and they dont care for unreladet animals.
After two or 3 generations they stop breeding ,males seems to get infertile and females drop egg sacs but no baby's:(
The only succesfull breeders for the moment (just 2 breeders i know very well one in Holland and one in Germany)are the one who dit the effort to not inbreed and keep different bloodlines.
Another big problem by damaranum is the majority of males born every year.
Some years like 90 procent of males are born, difficult to find answers on that...
So you see damaranum a beauty but keep many things in mind...
I will do my best to ship 2 maybe 3 pairs to Paul near end of the year i will see very strikt for sending you unreladet animals so you guys in the US can take a good start with this fantastic species!
