reputation points are points given when a good topic, answer, comment, or question is written! Also rep.points are given to thosewho win conests!

points can begiven by clicking the green sqaure on the oppisite side of any one persons avatar!

Contest winnings don't add to reputation points. You get cute little medal tags or trophies for that. Reputation is earned by writing solid, informative posts that other people approve of enough to press that little green button. If it becomes bothersome for one reason or another, you can turn off your reputation display under "options" and then your reputation just becomes a single gray box.

The numeric reputation value of other members is not viewable. However, the small graphics below member names in the forums are directly correlated to their reputation. The title you see when you hold the mouse over the graphics is also directly related to reputation.
