Diary of what the chameleons ate this month.

Supplement is currently three parts sticky tongue farms mineral-o and one part repashy calcium plus -regular/original strength. Crickets, superworms and mealworms are dusted. Don't usually dust roaches, butterworms, silkworms, terrestrial isopods, stick insects, snails or anything else.

  • Jan 1 - 3 crickets (gutloaded on carrot, dandelion and dry alfalfa; supplement dusted)
  • Jan 2 - 2 dubia (gutloaded on apple, carrot, dandelion and dry alfalfa), plus one superworm (these live in my normal bedding gutload plus recently had access to carrot, dandelion, apple and soft wood) for the veiled as he has a greater appetite /size than panthers
  • Jan 3 - 1 hornworm (storebought and not gutloaded beyond the chow the store uses), 2 crickets (gutloaded and supplement dusted)
  • Jan 4 - 3 butterworms (gutloaded on cooked carrot), 1 mealworm (normal bedding gutload plus dandelion, apple & carrot, supplement dusted)
  • Jan 5 - crickets and butterworms
  • Jan 6 - hisser (gutloaded on apple, carrot, dandelion, walnuts, almonds, sunflower seeds, coconut, dry alfalfa, dead oak leaves, etc)
  • Jan 7 - nothing
  • Jan 8 - 2 Butterworms (gutloaded on cooked carrot), terrestrial isopod (range of veggy gutloads)
  • Jan 9 - 4 crickets (gutloaded on peas and carrots, supplement dusted)
  • Jan 10 - dubia (gutloaded on apple, carrot, dandelion, almonds, sunflower seeds, coconut, dry alfalfa, etc)
  • Jan 11 - superworms (dry gutload substrate, with small pieces of fruit and veg)
  • Jan 12 - nothing
  • Jan 13 - dubia (gutloaded with dandelion, yam, alfalfa and seeds)
  • jan 14 - hisser (gutloaded on apple, carrot, dandelion, almonds, sunflower seeds, coconut, dry alfalfa, dead oak leaves, yam, etc)
  • Jan 15 - nothing
  • Jan 16 - terrestrial isopods and 2 silkworms (gutloaded on dandelion leaves and mulberry chow)
  • Jan 17 - 2 silkworms and 2 mealworms
  • Jan 18 - 2 silkworms and 2-6 terrestrial isopods
  • Jan 19 - 1 butterworm, 1 silkworm, 1 mealworm
  • Jan 20 - nothing
  • Jan 21 - a few terrestrial isopods
  • Jan 22 - 3 crickets
  • Jan 23 - 25 nothing
  • Jan 26 - 1 hornworm, 2 mealworms
  • Jan 27 - 1 superworm, 1 indian walking stick
  • Jan 28 - 1 indian walking stick, 1 dubia
  • Jan 29 - 1 superworm
  • Jan 30 -nothing
  • Jan 31 - 1 cricket, 1 small hisser
