November 2013 food intake (and supplements used)

this is a day by day diary of the prey intake for each of my adult male panther and veiled chameleons. Panthers and veilds got the same meals, except where otherwise noted.

All prey was gutloaded except the hornworms (which were fed off immediately after purchase). Butterworms were gutloaded with carrot, apple and squash. Crickets and roaches gutloaded with primarily dandelion, carrot, apple and some dry blend (alfalfa, nuts, spirulina, etc). supers and meals are in a substrate mix like this. isopods eat wood, leaf litter, fruit and veg. Silkworms got chow and a little dandelion. snails get mostly veggies like squash and cucumber, plus a little fruit like apple.

Supplements are noted if /when used: 50-50 is a mix of roughly equal portions Mineral-O (the vitamin free calcium and mineral powder made by Sticky Tongue Farms) and Calcium Plus (made by Repashy - original strength).

This has been extremely helpful! I just posted on the forum because I am just really confused on the supplements. I haven't received my baby panther yet (Jan 7th) but I am looking to buy all he will need as far as vit/min and feeders. I see a lot of people use repashy all in one CalPlus but does this contain any D3? I didnt see it in the ingredient list so... What else should I be buying? I live in dreary Ohio so not much natural D3 here! Should I get the Minerall-indoor with D3 or the Repashy CalPlus LoD? Next and final Q, if Im using any or all of these interchangeably do I still need a multivitamin to use 2x a week? Thanks and sorry for the long winded Q's!

Its amazing how they go from 2-3 dozen large crickets a day, to a half dozen a week when they are adults. My 330gramer is lucky to want to eat 4 dubia males a week.
