DIY Feeder Container

Because I plan on acquiring several more chameleons in the near future, I decided to create bigger feeder bins in order to prepare myself for bulk purchases. Currently I use 3 bins; the first one houses crickets, the second one houses roaches and third one houses silkworms. I used two different types of bins, both chosen for their softer tops. I chose soft lids because they are easier to cut through.

Here are the materials needed:
-Soft-top storage bin(s); I used the sterilite brand.
-Roll of duct tape.
-Roll of screen door replacement (can be found at Home Depot)
-Some type of cutting tool


Here are the steps:
1) Cut a large square out of the lid of the storage bin (I used box cutters; afterwards another member suggested a heated stanley knife).
2) Cut out a square of screen (slightly larger then the hole) and tape it over the top of the hole.

Note: There are many ways to make feeder bins. My idea is merely a slight altercation of the many other ideas that can be found on this forum. I am simply showing what I did, in order to provide more ideas. I have had some of these bins for several months now. The screen I chose works very well and I have had great success using duct tape, since it is very durable and easy to apply.
