I wanted to know which was a better source for th euv rays that my chameleon has: a 10.0 coil lamp which i have
or a tube bulb which is bigger
by the way i have a baby veiled and i wanted to know if i should get the tube bulb when i get a bigger cage r keep the 10.0 coil bulb?

i didnt know that was too much the pet store guy who takes care of veiled said it would do fine

could this be a matter of opinion.
also could i just put the lamp a little farther away from the chameleon

Search this forum for the problems with compacts-dead, burnt, and blind chameleons. It is unfortunatley a matter of fact and proven. It is also a matter of fact that most pet stores know very little about chameleons. Better safe than sorry-go with the tried and true Zoomed Reptisun 5.0.

how much time do i have usually until i can a new one becaus i cant get one till 3 tomorrow and the light will be already on for 8 hours

i have a reptisun 10.0 should i get a 5.0 reptisun or zoo med?

i want to know if i should get a 5.0 zoo med or reptisun uv b bulb since i hear my 10.0 is too much for my baby veiled

Are you asking if you can return it?
The answer should be yes.
Get a Repti-sun 5.0 linear tube light. There is also one called repti-glo. Try to get the repti-SUN it is far superior.
And just so you know ... most "guys at the pet store" don't know very much about caring for chameleons.

For some decent basic info check this out:
There is a specific article on lighting.
