Hello everyone. I recently upgraded my female veiled chameleon into a 2x2x4 screen cage. But still have my reptisun 5.0. Yes it is setup so she can be within 6" of it. But I know I need a bigger bulb..what is the best??

You can still use the 5.0 but you might need one that is longer in length so it covers more of the cage area. Some people also use the 10.0's.

I was in a reptile store here in Tempe az. And they have 100watt power sun in there 2x2x4s?? Would
U recommend this?? I would think it would Get too hot??

I have the reptisun 5.0 compact florescent and a 75 watt basking bulb. I run 89 basking 75-79 ambient with 40% humidity

I personally do not like the powersun as they are a combo uva(basking) and uvb bulb. That is just my personal opinion. I like having the two separate bulbs. The tube style uvb bulbs really brighten up the cage and are not just concentrated in one area. If they don't feel like basking, then they do not get any uvb when you use the combo. To answer your question about it getting too hot, I do not know as there are many variables like the temperature of your house and such that can effect the temps in the cage.
