My veiled is pregnant so i am thinking ahead of housing the babies. She is really fat so i am expecting quite a few if they hatch. Is it best to have a wodden vivarium. I know screen is best but wont the fruit flies escape and the crickets.

A lot of people tub babies at first then move to smaller screen cages with lots to climb on. keeping the cages and tubs short helps prevent injury to falling chams. if the screen is small enough you shouldn't have an issue with escapees.

Wow-6-9 months of planning ahead! Many of us here in the states use plastic tubs. A good bunch of baby Veileds will instantly chow down on anything you dump in so you won't see too many escapees!
