Baby please help!!!!!!

Hey all so I have found a baby bird I know it's not a chameleon bit I have a hart for all animals and I can't let it die. I have gave it some worms that I sauced up and it ate it.does anyone know anything else I can do to help it?It gets really hot here and I don't want it to die.

did it fall out of a nest? If so, put it back! That is a TOTAL myth that if the mother smells a human she will reject it. If not, check your local area for wildlife refuge that will take in baby birds.

Go to a pet store and get the food for baby birds, it is called Kaytee Exact. It is a powder you mix up. It is designed for baby birds.

And administer via plastic tip syringe. I'd put it in a cham cage and raise it till fully feathered snd release it.. that's just me :) did it with a opposum and a robin :)

Someone on here is volunteering to rehab birds. I think she said something about the beak shape to determine what types of food it eats. i agree with John you need ot figure out what type of bird it is before giving it food. A common mistake people make is giving the food cold or at room temps. When i raise CB parrots chicks, temps of the formula is at 104*. I dont know if this applies to wild birds but common sense says it does need warmed but just to what temp...

This may be true for crop-feeders like Parrots. But birds like robins, thrushes, cat birds and other insectivorous birds bring back bugs just how they catch them! Once again ID is key to situate care!
