Baby & 1 Year Pics!

Here are some pics of my 1st chameleon who just turned a year old. I also added one of him hanging upside down as a baby for comparison! Please let me know what you think.

Also, I'm not sure why some of the spike tips on his back were dark... I've never noticed them looking that way except the day I took those pics. He started shedding the next day and and they've been blue/green ever since. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know (did not appear to be anything like what I'd expect a burn to behave or look like).

Another thing I've been wondering about is his that "claws" seem awful short in comparison to other chameleon pics I've seen. They used to be longer when he was younger and seemed to have gradually worn away. Should I be concerned? I am getting ready to buy a larger enclosure and would hate to think he may have trouble climbing around.

Thanks!

Well, from here he looks fantastic, nice job! :) I can't really help with your other questions as I can barely see any spine discolouration and have no experience of nail wearing......

Pretty man. Nosy Be?

He's got nice nails. Shouldn't be a problem. I get more concerned with the longer nails getting caught in wire screen.

The dark parts of his dorsal spines could be retained shed.

He looks very nice. Plump casque, nice fat bulging eyes. Seems well hydrated.

Very nice Cham. I love his yellow highlights on his lips.

I think he is gorgeous and that yellow stripe by his the mouth area is awesome, great job you have done with him, I see nothing wrong.

Yes, he's a Nosy Be! He usually has more of a "bluish" tint to him, but not on the day I took those pics. I'm glad he looks okay to you...very good to to hear! I like the yellow highlights as well. Those highlights used to be very dark, which made his mouth look dirty, lol! I'm very pleased to see the bright yellow developing. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.
