Put them in a separate cage before Mom gets a snack!

Yeow! I didn't realize that chameleons would eat their young. What an eye opener!

Small screen cage or plastic tub-low heat. UVB bulb-small food.

First of all congratulations.

Rudis indeed can eat it's own young. I never see it at my place but know somebody who saw an adult shooting at a juvinile.

I keep the baby's at cages of 25x40x60 (WxDxH) in cm's. up to 40x40x60 or 40x60x60. Depending on free cages and number of babies. I keep them together for the first three months. At this time they should be seperated as males then already start to atempt to mate with the females.

The first weeks I mainly feed them fruitflies. Later on I start adding crickets, roaches, beetles etc. These chameleons love differnt kind of foods.

I spray them with water early in the morning.

good luck with the babies.

Rudis bear live young. It's not uncommon to not even know when they are gravid (until she swells up looking like she swallowed a golf ball or something!).
