New to the forum this is my 1st post aha Ok so I just got my arcadia lights couple of days ago and I couldn't be happier honestly these lights are fantastic and not to mention that Todd knows his products and is happy to answer all your questions. Completely Worth it. I have a 2 month old veiled and my little guy loves the lights haha. I had a mvl and there is a huge difference to me. NOT bashing mvl just my opinion. BY the way is it possible for over exposure to uva/uvb? just curious

I don't know the real answer to this as I'm new also but I am having a slight glitch with my male and it's possible that my 12% is too high for him and its possibly the reason the is always black and look exhausted. I'm going to try the 6% and see if it makes a difference. If it does then that answers your question.

Thanks, although I have not had any issues with the black or exhaustion under the lights.
Mostly he just moves around doing his thing or hangs out on his branch haha being a fat boy!

interesting... I'm setting up for a Jax and ordered the 12%. What makes you think UVB overexposure is to blame here? Let me know how he reacts to the 6%...

Well I can't put a finger on anything else and have gone over and over everything in his cage and seen hundreds of peoples setups and mine is no different ofthen than a lot of people use a 6%. A guy who was chatting to me on one of my posts had a similar problem and it was down to the uvb being too strong. I spoke to an arcadia expert and although he said its very unlikely it's down to the 12% but there are certain cases where you get the more sensitive reptile wether it be uvb heat or anything else for that matter

ya, sounds reasonable. geeze. I don't even have a chameleon yet and I've already got problems. soon enough I'll be posting in the health clinic page about my anxiety issues.

He absolutely does! Todd is by far the best customer service bar none. Just talk to him he's very helpful
