Any other reef keepers?

No decent photos right now but I have a 30 gal. I used to have quite a few but they seem to be just as tough to get somebody to watch them while you are away as the chams are. So now I limit myself to one small one.

Had a 40 gallon saltwater tank, but it crashed. So, the hubby and I did the next best thing and became certified scuba divers! :D

Late reply but I have had a 40g reef for a few months. I only have a birdsnest alive (well...not sure) right now and I'm not sure when I can buy any frags because they are just so darn expensive. I bet it you weigh it them the prices are comparable to drugs... but for reefaholics!

Not around here. There is half a dozen reef stores within 20 mins of me and one of them is on my way home from work. Look for a local Reef club.

Here's my 150..

Nice, how old is the tank?

Thanks! That tank has been set up about a year, it was an upgrade from my 120... Some of the corals I've had for several years..

I'm a sucker for pink palys, those in your first pic are amazing!!
Lots of other great looking corals also!!

My zoa and paly grew like weeds in that tank. I fragged them every month. The new tank isn't as productive yet but it's only 3 months old.

I'm sure you know nothing good ever comes from impatience in reef tanks! They definitely take time to mature and grow in!

What size is your current tank?

I had a mantis tank for a couple of years once.. His name was Igor, after the Marty Feldmon character in Young Frankenstein with Gene Wilder..

Currently have a 120 (used to have a 120, sold it along with all my tanks during a rough financial time), a 29g in my office and my wife has a seahorse tank.

I had my mantis for almost a year. His name was Clacker from an RA Salvatore character.

I'd love to have a seahorse tank one day, they are sooo cool!!

Thanks for sharing and letting me also!!!
