as for keeping them together.. that is what Mike told me to do... so I did. Since the eggs wne bad I had a female veiled lay... and I put all the eggs into the same conainer (after washing it out) and so far it works well.
Thanks, Kevin! Yeah, we happened to be out of vermiculite when this happened (naturally) and my husband went on a wild goose chase trying to round some up just as stores were closing for the day and, of course, the fine stuff was all he could find. This is good to know.

Yeah, I usually put all of my eggs together for all the species that we have eggs with right now (montium, carpet, panther and now melleri), but I wasn't sure since I looked at your previous thread with Lenny and her eggs and wanted to be sure I was doing it right. If these eggs ARE fertile, I want to give them the best chance of survival as possible.

Hey, congrats on your veiled eggs, Kevin. Yay!

You might have a fight on your hands for some ..... I'll add you to the list of many....

Thanks!!! When I walk anywhere near the eggs, I knock on wood doorframes and throw salt, etc. .... ha ha ha

Yep, and she's got the personality to boot. She has such a great spirit and is SO social. We got her from some vendor at our local show here who was selling her. Other than her being super skinny, we were surprised to see that she didn't have any marks or rubbed-off nose horn or anything.

When conjoined eggs hatch sometimes one pips into the other one and the baby will drown. I don't know how to tell you to prevent it. It will depend on which way the baby is facing when it comes to hatching time.

Hey, man, one thing at a time. Let's just get them to the hatching stage, first..... LOL (but thank you, I did not know this...)
