6 month Veiled chameleon not eating crickets

My male 6 month old veiled chameleon is no longer eating crickets. Just a few weeks ago he would eat up to 20 small crickets a day. Now he only eats a superworm or two every other day or so. He drinks from an eyedropper every morning, so I think he gets enough water. He also has not shed in quite a few weeks. He used to shed more often. He looks good, though, and is not thin.

He has also taken to climbing on the screen (large mesh) sides of his cage as if trying to find a way out. He used to bask, walk around a bit, and eat, but rarely climb on his screen cage unless stressed.

He is in an all screen adult chameleon sized cage with the proper lighting and basking spot and has pothos plants and vines to sit on.

Is this change in eating and behavior normal? Thank you very much.
