anything that big out here goes for about 97 bucks.

Wow! As soon as the late brunch mimosas wear off I may have to go check out Home Depot. Thanks for the hookup!

thanks jay i will have to check them out here in SD hopefuly they have them here at that price!!!:D

man, I wish I would have seen this post earlier. I was just at the Brea one and did not even bother to look at the ficus this time.....

Jay I am really busy with my 2 new little guys, could you pick up about 6 or 8 and run them up to me? I will pay for the trees and cook for you. What more could you want?? Now don't go using the g word. I know the gas won't cost much.:D:rolleyes:

WOW, thats a great price. How do you go about cleaning those guys?

make a soapy water solution in a bucket. Dump the whole soapy water to the trees, so it get totally soaked.
Sun dry for 5 minutes.
Rinse with water.

Repeat 3-5 times.

Yea, i think im off to the one on imperial hwy here in so cal... ill let you guys know what i find...brb

So thats a negative for the Imperial one...they did have one ficus though, about 7ft for $84...decided against it.

Ah was just there this evening but they didnt have anything like this.. I dont have a need for one and they are really difficult for me to keep alive..but still, Id buy one at that price. I have a slight cheap plant addiction.

most home depot/lowes get all their shipments from local private nurseries. and all delivery shipments typically come in on tuesday afternoons * at least in arizona*

most 4-5 foot braided ficuses go for about 50.
3' ficuses go for about 12
1' are about 6.99

it all depends on the time of year TBH, occasioanlly i will find a few really good finds one time of the year, spring is typically when i find the best tropical plants.

summer is the hardest, and all the prices double.

Wow, sorry guys. I didn't mean to tease you with the excellent deal, only to find it was at my Home Depot....

I am going to stop back by there in the morning and buy 4 more if they have them.

I guess you can have to many at that price.:)

If you want to drive out to the Home Depot here in Corona, It may be worth it. They had about 100 trees at 11am this morning.
